Does the Mark change that person?
~ I think I has a huge part in changing the beholder of the Mark, just simply for the fact that they had the qualities the previous beholder wanted to see. When Dean took the Mark of Cain upon himself he had a slight idea of what he was signing up for, but what he didn't know was how it would make him go killer crazy on some of the people that are his allies. \
In what way does it change the person?
~ I guess you could say it molded the person into more of a power hungry/ feeling-less type of person. When you look at the way Dean shifted from what he was to what he became you can see that the Mark did things to him that he never would have expected.
Are they any different once the Mark has been removed?
~ See that's the thing about all of this we dont actually know what will happen once that cursed mark is removed, but we do know that whatever is going to happen, if anything, will happen sooner or later to Dean. But, when you look at what Cain was doing after he was released from the mark you begin to wonder if that's not what will happen to Dean. Cain started to kill off everyone in his bloodline, but he didnt stop there. He had a few others on his list as well, but he never got the chance because Dean took him out before it could.
Is there any connection between the four characters, who bare or have bared the Mark of Cain?
~ I would like to say there is. Lucifer rebelled against his father. Cain was a mad man who created something that should have never been created, the Knights of Hell, to help him with his dirty work. Dean went Hostile after he was killed by Metatron, which only made him stronger and less prone to things like dying again. Once you die as a human bearing the Mark, you wake up as a demon because of it! The Mark doesn't want the bearer to die, because if they did so would the Mark. And Now there's Amara who bears the Mark, well I havent seen much of her to actually tell you what she is like, but thus far she carries the same qualities of all three (Lucifer, Cain, and Dean) thrown together. I can't say who's the worst yet, because that chapter has just begun.
